Belgium's entry at the 1978 Eurovision Song Contest.
Jean Vallée - "L'amour ça fait chanter la vie" ("Love makes life sing")
The only song to threaten the ultimately-unbeatable "A Ba Ni Bi" was this old-fashioned French-speaking ballad from Belgium (one of three French-speaking songs in the top-5). I gotta be honest, I'm not the biggest fan of it - it feels stuck in first gear, like it's missing the chorus, and I would rather have seen other songs from '78 in the runner-up position.

Keep an eye out for Jean almost tripping on the raised step at the end of the song.
