The 'climate cult' wants to 'destroy our livelihoods'

Sky News host Rowan Dean says Prime Minister Scott Morrison learnt a “valuable lesson” after he was not invited to speak at a climate summit this weekend, despite giving away the nation’s Kyoto credits in hope he would secure a place at the podium.

His comment comes as global leaders will speak at a climate summit this weekend to announce 'ambitious' new commitments against climate change but Prime Minister Scott Morrison has been left off the invite list.

Ms Credlin said Scott Morrison was meant to speak but Australia's climate change policies have been deemed too weak to justify a slot at the gathering.

“I hope Scott Morrison has learn a lesson from this,” Mr Dean said.

“We gave up our Kyoto credits, which is like handing money away, purely, because Scott Morrison was advised do this big gesture and then you can stand up at this conference and big note it with all these head honchos around the world.

“So we gave up our credits and then get slapped in the face because it’s not enough.

“With the climate cult, it’s feeding the crocodile, you can never win, you can never give enough, you can never do enough for them, it’s net zero, hey want nothing, they want to destroy our economy, they want to destroy our jobs, our livelihood, our prosperity.

“That’s what net zero means.”

Mr Dean added, the prime minister delivered a magnificent speech in parliament on Thursday, saying stands with the Australian people and doesn’t care to be giving speeches on platforms around the world.
