Aimee Brasher is a supervisor with Star View Community Services out of its Compton office and on the Board for the Compton human trafficking task force. Her team provides trauma informed victim informed field based mental health services service to victims of trauma and victims of human trafficking and commercially sexually exploited children and youth and adults.

Raised in South Central Los Angeles, Alfred Lomas has succeeded in ways few thought possible. From his childhood in one of the worst neighborhoods in LA and his time as a gang leader to now running a transformational non-profit for youth in the city, Lomas brings a unique set of skills and firsthand experiences to each challenge he encounters. His life is dedicated to breaking the cycles of poverty, addiction and gang violence that he was once entrenched in himself. He has rescued hundreds of children out of the grip of traffickers and has given them hope for the future. Lomas focuses on keeping kids safe in high crime areas and gang hot spots, continuing to pioneer and innovate new prevention and intervention programs.

About BHBA's Community Legal Clinic
BHBA is very proud of our long history of pro bono projects and also of founding Public Counsel, the nation’s largest public interest law firm. We are now launching the BHBA Community Legal Clinic, aimed at linking our members to residents and charitable organizations in the most disadvantaged areas of Los Angeles that need pro bono legal help. The clinic's pilot project is a driver license restoration initiative to help clients of Inner City Visions, a 501(c)(3) in south Los Angeles.

Our partners will be Inner City Visions and A Better L.A., both of which are wonderful charities serving communities in south Los Angeles.
