Polymer Clay Fairy House, Fairy House, Night Sky, Clay Tutorial

Thanks for joining me for this Polymer Clay Night Sky Cottage Tutorial! Here is extra info:

Materials needed:
Polymer Clay, Wood Slice, Toothpick, Translucent Liquid Sculpey, Aileen's Tacky Glue, Acrylic Paints in various dark and light blue, white, and lavender, Ball Tool

Notes from Jenny:
~I prefer sculpey Premo polymer clays, a vinyl modeling material that cures in an oven.
~I use various dark colors of blue and purple clay with a hint of lighter color for the marbled roof mix.
~The cutter I use in the video is 1 1/2"
~I use a Makins pasta machine to roll my clay, but hand-rolling the clay for this project will work just as well.
~I use a mix of Aileen's tacky glue and translucent liquid sculpey to create a bond between the wood slice and the raw clay. Wood slices are just fine in an oven!
~I use a dab of Translucent Liquid Sculpey when I attach the cured cottager to the raw landscape.
~The ground in this piece is a medium blue-green with a lighter blue-green trim as a highlight.
~I make my own texture tools by curing ends of toothpicks and pins in hunks of scrap clay.
