Huge bombs rain down near Gaza Hospital
"Huge bombardments” have hit the area surrounding Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza City as the war between Hamas and Israel intensifies.
Footage posted by the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) captures explosions occurring near al-Quds hospital on Wednesday night.
The society was housing 8,000 displaced persons, officials said.
An attack on the al-Ahli Arab Baptist Hospital in central Gaza City killed at least 471 people on Tuesday night.
Israel and Hamas blamed one another, with the Israeli Defence Forces later releasing audio footage of Islamic Jihad terrorists discussing it misfired a rocket that fell on Gaza hospital.
Hamas spokesperson Basem Naim claimed there were many "proofs" Israel's Defence Forces were responsible for the bombing.
US President Joe Biden backed Israel's claim that the deadly hospital explosion was caused by a misfired rocket from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
