Virtual Reality is a technology that immerses users in computer-generated environments through specialized headsets and sensors. It combines computer graphics, sensory input, motion tracking, and psychology to create realistic and interactive virtual worlds. Engineers work extremely hard to minimize latency, address motion sickness, and understand human perception to deliver compelling and immersive experiences. (Although I did get a migraine afterwards.) Content creation, interaction design, and health considerations are integral parts of this rapidly evolving field, with the potential to impact various industries, including education!
