The 2021 BMW M3 Sedan has an MSRP of $69,900, nearly $2,500 more than the F80 M3 Sedan. The 2021 BMW M4 starts at $71,800 compared to the $69,150 price on the F82 M4. Of course, BMW offers a Competition model for both variants. The 2021 BMW M3 Competition is priced at $72,800 while the M4 Competition sells for $74,700.
In Canada the G80 M3 sedan pricing starts at $84,300, the M3 competition starts at, $88,300 CDN.

All-wheel drive (xDrive) has been announced as being optional on the new M3 only for the M3
Competition which would represent the first time that an M3 has used a drivetrain layout other than rear-wheel drive. A manual gearbox will be available only with rear wheel drive.It will also be available as a Touring (estate) model, marking the first time BMW has offered an M3 Touring.

Six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, high-revving character, maximum 375 kW/510 hp and up to 650 Nm (479 lb-ft). The old F80 M3 tipped the scales at 1,595 kg (3,515 lbs), which is a respectable number today. The new car? That checks in at a whopping 1,780 kg (3,924 lbs). That’s an increase of almost two hundred kilos and that’s on the lightest of the new cars. That makes the M3 heavier than a BMW 540i, which has the same sized engine. Maybe that massive front grill has increased the weight...

In Competition-spec with its eight-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive, the G80 weights 1,805 kg (3,979 lbs). For context, that’s only 100 kg lighter than the much larger, much more luxurious BMW M8 Competition Coupe(!).
