Counselling Session Demonstration: Julie
This video is a demonstration of counselling skills midway through an episode of therapeutic work. The intention is to demonstrate humanistic/person-centred skills in listening, empathising, and helping clients to deepen their emotional processing and awareness. To preserve anonymity, the client is role-played by an actor.
Many thanks to Julie Naylor for playing the part of the client, and for Maya Katherine (www.mayakatherine.co.uk) for production and technical support.
