DIY Beaded Bow Necklace How To ¦ The Corner of Craft

The much-requested beaded bow necklace is finally here! This has been posted as a HUGE thank you to all of you who have supported me on YouTube.

This necklace uses a bead weaving technique called "Brick Stitch". It's quite simple to do and it's possible to create all sorts of different designs using this stitch. You can use either seed beads or delica beads to create this necklace, but I think delicas have a much nicer finish. This is a cute bow that looks just like the bow worn by Hello Kitty!

You will need:
2 (or more) colours of size 11 Delica beads (I used the brand Miyuki)
1m of beading thread (I used Nymo)
1 size 10 beading needle
2 x 4mm jump rings
