These are the things you have to consider before jumping in and trying to find the right person or people to teach you how to become a stellar actor and VA.

Voice Over is not about the mimicry, the funny character voices, the ability to be zany on cue. Often times students come to the table with "My mom says I do a good Kermit the Frog impression so I should be able to book work in Voice Over", and that is simply not the case.

Voice Over like any other niche of performance and entertainment, is about the TRUTH that you can bring to a character in the given circumstances of a scene and story. Whether you are a rough and tumble Human soldier, a dog who's looking for their bone, or an Alien Female who's spaceship has crash landed on Earth, you need to be able to bring what is REAL about that situation to the table so that you can entertain and touch the audience.
