Having an open conversation with God, the thing we call prayer, is dependent on our hearts being in right relationship with Him. The Bible is clear in that when we hold onto unconfessed sin, our prayers are hindered. It is important to take a good look inside our hearts and if needed, ask for forgiveness so our line of communication with God will be open.
