Hopper Lines Vs. Dropper Lines Performance Testing

Testing how hopper lines and dropper lines compare in performance within Minecraft 1.15.2.

Droppers Vs. Composters - The Effect Certain Blocks Have On Hopper Performance:
https://youtu.be/LC3ZOOI1Rf0

The results are the average of 5 runs of CarpetMod’s /tick warp command, with server restarts between each run. To eliminate the potential issue of having the server and game client fight over which process gets to run on the highest performing CPU cores, and thus, affecting the benchmark, I’ve opted to not run the game client itself while benchmarking. Instead, I used a CarpetMod player bot to load the area and executed tick warps from the server console.

35,000 hoppers with composters on top were used for the hopper line tests, and 35,000 droppers with 35,200 observers for the dropper line tests. Y0 glass floor world. No entities.
