A Fatal Inversion - Barbara Vine | BBC Radio Crime Drama
Experience a haunting tale of secrets and consequences in this BBC Radio Drama adaptation of Barbara Vine's award-winning novel, "A Fatal Inversion."

The story unfolds across two timelines: the sweltering summer of 1976 and a decade later in 1987. When a human skeleton is unearthed in a pet cemetery at Wyvis Hall, it reawakens a dark chapter for a group of former friends. Ten years prior, Adam, Rufus, Shiva, Vivian, and the mysterious Zosie formed a short-lived commune at the estate, leading to an accidental kidnapping and a tragic death that they thought they had buried forever.

As the police close in, the surviving members must confront the choices they made during that long, hot summer. This psychological thriller explores the heavy burden of shared guilt and how the past inevitably catches up with the present.
