Joaquin Valdes & Gabo Tiongson - "Deep Within" (from Trumpet's The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe)

Trumpets Inc, in collaboration with Stages Sessions present the #ResoundingTrumpets series. This revival of songs from Trumpets' Original musicals brings together featured artists with the finest students from Trumpets Playshop, the theater company's summer workshop, now on it's 25th year.

To kick it off, we present "Deep Within" from Trumpets Inc's The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. Two days before he leaves for his UK Tour of Miss Saigon as Thuy, we have Joaquin Valdes, leaving some words of wisdom to his fellow Playshopper, Gabo Tiongson - currently playing Young Simba in first international tour of Lion King.

Fun Fact: This song is sung by Aslan to the young Edmund in his time of self doubt. Joaquin played young Edmund in Trumpets' very first run of The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe in 1997 . This time around, he steps in as the Great Aslan, with Gabo as Edmund Pevensi.
