Pipeline intervention and isolation can be achieved using STATS patented BISEP™. The BISEP™ range provides double block and bleed isolation deployed through a single full bore branch or hot tap penetration.

Dead legs are one of the main causes of leaks in pipelines and piping systems due to accelerated corrosion rates in stagnant piping. This animation details the application of the BISEP™ on a live pipeline to allow removal of a badly corroded 18" bypass pipe from a mature 36" main oil pipeline.
