一個咁靚既地方，又唔駛同人逼，
可以享受下非一般既寧靜實在係行到腳仔軟都抵曬。（單程11公里啊！仲要趕時間，真係跑落山咁。冇計遲出發，但又好想望一望高山既湖係點樣...）
香港冇雪山同咁大既湖，真係睇相都冇咩用，
只有親身其中先會感受到人類係大自然之中係幾咁渺小。

Visiting Lake O’Hara wasn’t a plan for my trip but turned out it was one of my favourite places to visit. By the day I headed to Yoho National Park, most of the places are closed for the off-season so I just drove around to see where was accessible and that was how I ended up going there.

Lake O'Hara is a famous hiking and camping spot where travellers can only access the lake either to hike or reserve a seat on a shuttle bus. However, getting a seat on a shuttle bus is completely painful during the season (around June - October) . I’m quite happy to visit the lake during the off-season and thankfully got to enjoy the lake before sunset cuz I started my walk at 3pm. It was 11km one way to the lake and another 11km to walk back. As it was off-season, there were no other travellers so it was extremely quiet and peaceful. Just felt like it was only me, the mountains and the lake❤️

Hiked 22km within 5 hours wasn’t easy but the lake was worth it. I’d say it was my favourite lake in the Canadian Rockies so far, especially with giving such an effort to get there. This time I didn't have sufficient time to hike more trails surrounding the lake O’Hara area but I'll put 🏕️Camping in Lake O’Hara on my bucket list. See ya, Lake O'Hara.
