Doncaster Rovers: The Brentford Story (Through the Lens)

Doncaster Rovers went into the final game of the 2012/13 season at Brentford needing a point to win promotion from League One. No one could have predicted the final day drama for drfc in stoppage time.

Brentford were awarded a penalty, Marcello Trotta hit the crossbar, and Doncaster Rovers went up to the other end of the pitch and James Coppinger scored to make Doncaster Rovers League 1 Champions and win promotion on the final day of the season.

I was part of the media team that day filming the action, capturing the footage for the highlights DVD, but as a Doncaster Rovers fan, the tension of the Brentford game was crazy. In this video I tell some of the stories from that great day, the highlights from the archive of one of the crazies finished to a football season in history.
