When I finished Red Dead Redemption 2, I thought that it was the best prequel ever made—that nothing could even come close to matching (and, in some cases, surpassing) the quality of the original.

Then I finished Better Call Saul.

By combining elements of Breaking Bad and Red Dead Redemption—and sometimes directly contrasting with them—Better Call Saul and Red Dead Redemption 2 become two of the greatest prequels ever created.
