Fairly easy to install, especially if you follow the instructions, it’s in fact plug and play.

Everything works just as if it would be connected directly. Though there’s a slight lag when pressing buttons, and when starting up.
This was installed in a 2015 Passat B8 TDI, with a retrofitted Discover Media MIB2.5 + 9.2 in screen.
