Realistic Slit Throat Tutorial Part 2: Filling the Moulds
READ ME:
The easiest way to get the most realistic slit throat is with a flat mould. Video 1 discusses why I love flat-moulds so much and what you can achieve with them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd2Rl8lFy5Q
This video (2) has how to fill the moulds with a fatty colour and a flesh colour for maximum realness.
Video 3 has the application of the flat mould with sexy close ups of the blending, detail, colouring, etc. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3z4JkUhISjU
Hopefully you learn something interesting :)
This is Stuart Bray's video on how to fill flat-moulds: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1U7XFSiCh8
You should check out his channel, it's great.
This is his flat-mould catalogue (with lots of good tips): http://www.learnmakeupeffects.com/flatmoulds/
This is his Cut Throat #1 mould (used in these 3 videos): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CUT-THROAT-1-/141270784106?pt=UK_Crafts_Other_Crafts_EH&hash=item20e465186a
This is his Cut Throat #2 mould: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CUT-THROAT-2-/141270784103?pt=UK_Crafts_Other_Crafts_EH&hash=item20e4651867
I will make a video on this shortly.
His flat moulds are also available from Brick in the Yard Mould supply (US based) http://www.shop.brickintheyard.com/Prosthetic-Molds_c45.htm
If you want to learn how to make your own flat moulds, there's a fantastic (one hour) video by Neill Gorton on just how to do that: http://shop.mfxwarehouse.co.uk/dvds/dvd-s/the-art-of-silicone-prosthetics/part-1.-flat-mould-and-3d-transfer-appliances.htm
It costs less than $2 for 24 hour access streaming on Vimeo, and is well worth it. I'm not affiliated with Neill Gorton or Stuart Bray they've just got awesome products that I am excited about and have bought for my own use, and recommend to everyone :D
