Emergency 911 dispatcher surprised with gifts from Secret Santa

A Secret Santa is back and this Christmas is bigger than ever!

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local man gift more than $500,000 this holiday season. A lot more. Secret Santa is a real person who wants to remain anonymous and hopes to help as many individuals in our community as he can.

We will be surprising deserving people and families every day from now until Christmas with gifts unique to their circumstances.

While in college, Lindsey was in a car crash. She ended up paralyzed and having to use a wheelchair. Despite her trials and struggles, she became an Emergency Communications Officer. She is one of the voices on the phone line when you call 911. She is there to help others and send the help they need.

Over the last few years, Lindsey has had some pretty significant struggles with her health. Due to an injury on her foot that would not heal, she ended up having it amputated after months of treatment.

During her personal health struggles, she pushed forward and continued to help others. Lindsey is always thinking of others. She made care kits to donate to ladies going through cancer treatment. She has crocheted items to donate to hospitals and constantly looks for ways to serve others.

Secret Santa was impressed with Lindsey and asked the East Idaho News elves to surprise her at work. Watch the video above to see how it turned out!
