We dedicate a whole show to fitness and exercise to explore the benefits from different angles and show you that anyone can fit it into their life, even those who have been diagnosed with a condition or who have had an accident.
Chrissy speaks to personal trainer Kezieah Ibe about his fitness regime and he gives advice for those who want to get fitter and stronger.
And family coach Sharon Lawton gives tips on what we can do about children that want to constantly play video games or be on social media and who don’t show much of an interest in exercise.
And of course we can’t have a show about exercise without giving you another idea for a quick workout so expert Natalia Kotowska will show you an effective 3-exercise lower body workout that you can do outdoors and with no equipment needed.
Then resident psychologist Dr Audrey Tang talks about the psychological benefits of exercise and why we shouldn’t underestimate its positive effects and news correspondent Helena Chard brings you positive news.
Dr Rob Hicks will be addressing whether you should exercise if you have been diagnosed with a physical condition and answering questions such as how soon after an operation you can get moving again.
Chrissy and Sharon got moving when they went to visit the Pauline Quirk Performing Arts Academy recently where they continued with the MHDChallenge Tour.
And of course when we embark on a fitness journey we also need to look at nutrition for maximum effect, so we go to Hannah’s kitchen for a lovely recipe for pumpkin soup and courtesy of Head Talks we also take a look at the story of Paralympic Champion Anne Usher who was a physiotherapist and competitive cyclist until a back injury left her unable to ride. So how did she end up winning two World championship golds, three European golds and gold in the Paralympic kayaking in Rio in 2016? She reveals all.
The Chrissy B Show airs on SKY 191 every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 10pm. We are the the UK's ONLY TV show dedicated to mental health and wellbeing.
