1-Hour combustion experiment of 3mm aerogel glass fiber felt at 1000°C

We will place a 10mm thick aerogel glass fiber mat and ordinary fireproof material under a 1000℃ high-temperature spray gun to conduct a burn-through comparison experiment! We will record the temperature changes on the surface of the materials, burn-through time, and post-combustion status to validate the super fireproof and thermal insulation performance of the aerogel glass fiber mat with data!
🔍 Key highlights
✅ 1000℃ flame direct spray for 1h 30 minutes without burning through
✅ Back temperature only 300℃ vs ordinary material 1000℃
✅ Structure intact after combustion, no deformation, no powdering
👉 In what scenarios would you use this material? Building exterior walls? Industrial pipelines? Or energy storage devices? Let me know in the comments!
👉 Guess how long ordinary materials will take to burn through?
