Range Rover / Jaguar 2.0 diesel 204dtd Motus crankshaft review

As a engine rebuilder workshop, we have dealt with a few types of Motus crankshafts.

This 204dtd is the worst type. It spuns the bearings within about 10km.

For us , Motus doesn't exjst from now on.

The "vibration thing" for Motus crank is 300grams heavier than the genuine crank. I have recorded that in the Romanian version video. That makes the engine not equilibrated.

we regret buying 50 pcs 2.0 diesel cranks from them.
we regret that 25 of them already fitted have failed
we regret that the remaining 25 pcs didn't get the accept from Motus to be refunded despite showing them their problem.

Their problem is that they invest in objects, and not in human. They invest in machines / qr codes and stuff... but in the main important thing they don't.

The quality is all you need nowadays ! No logo, no beautiful boxes , .... come on !

What makes an engine to run for long term is a good quality crankshaft.
