Top Ten Fighting Game Sub Bosses

Getting to the top isn’t always easy. Many fighting games have implemented a sub boss to make that single step needed to get to the final boss of the arcade ladder just as, if not more, difficult as the main antagonist. These characters act as the gatekeeper for the final boss with high AI difficulty and a potentially broken moveset. If you can’t beat these guys, don’e bother with the final boss. I’ll be judging them based on their backstory with the main villain and the fight itself. Some entries may focus more on the in-game fight, while other may look at the whole scope of their story.
