DIY $20 Home Assistant Office Panel Using ESP32 S3 Display

A few of people asked about the smart display panel I showed in a previous video, so I made a full setup guide.

In this video I’ll show you how to build a cheap and responsive Home Assistant display using an ESP32 screen and ESPHome. No tablet, no subscription, and the whole setup costs around $20.

We’ll go through:
- Installing ESPHome
- Installing Terminal & SSH
- Cloning the UI repo
- Creating the config files
- Flashing the ESP32 through Home Assistant
- Windows driver fixes and troubleshooting and tips

Everything runs locally and updates over the air after the first flash.
