Advanced Interactive Gallery System
Category: Game Art / Technical Art / UI/UX
This project showcases a fully integrated, interactive Gallery System developed in Unreal Engine 5. It serves as a comprehensive "Showroom" level, featuring architectural design, high-end lighting, and a robust data-driven interface for asset management.
The Level Design:
The environment is divided into three distinct functional zones:
The Main Lobby: The entry point and navigation hub.
The Acquisition Hall: A cinematic space for receiving new items.
The Review Gallery: A luxury vault designed for detailed inspection of collected trophies.
Technical UI/UX Framework:
The core of this project is a sophisticated interface system linked to an external Data Table (Excel/CSV).
Dynamic Navigation: A smooth scrolling and pagination system allowing users to browse hundreds of unique items.
Index-Based Search: Implementation of a direct-entry search function to instantly call up specific trophies by their unique IDs.
Asset Calling Logic: Blueprints handle the seamless transition between cameras and the spawning/swapping of 3D trophy assets within the inspection frame.
Lighting & Aesthetics:
Inspired by luxury museums, I utilized a high-contrast palette: deep navy blues, warm beige accents, and physically accurate gold materials. The lighting is meticulously tuned to highlight the complex geometry of the trophies, creating a "shimmering" effect that enhances the sense of value and rarity.
Key Technical Specs:
Engine: Unreal Engine 5 (Blueprints only).
Data: Excel-to-UE5 Workflow (DataTables).
Transitions: Custom Camera Management System.
VFX: Material-driven shimmer and particle-based rotation highlights.
