Jonas Savimbi's son Rafael on Angola’s democratic national election
In August Angola will hold its election. It is expected to be a defining moment for the country and the continent as millions vote for a new President to replace Eduardo dos Santos who has been head of the Southern African state since 1979. On this episode of the MoneyMakers, Bruce Whitfield is joined by Rafael Savimbi, son of the late Angolan rebel leader Jonas Savimbi, senior figure in Unita and a candidate that competed in the country's first post-civil war elections in 2008.
