A photo tour of the historic industrial section of the river district in Central Falls, RI. It includes a Blackstone river cruise on the Blackstone Valley Explorer tour boat. Central Falls was known in the old days for textiles and even chocolate making. Central Falls goes back to the beginning of the industrial revolution and is just up river from the famous Slater Mill where it all began.
