Washington Vessel Transport Project
Emmert International was contracted by a highly respected engineering company to move three (3) vessels to the jobsite in Moses Lake, Washington. Two (2) of the columns, the DCS and TCS were fabricated in Vancouver, WA; these units were loaded onto Emmert's 8 Dolly Highway Transporter and rolled onto a barge to be barged closer to the destination. The Hydrogenator was shipped from overseas and placed onto a barge from ships gear for the same reason. This project had very tight clearances and obstacles to overcome. The gross loaded dims are as follows: DCS: 201' x 16' 8" x 20' x 404,000 lbs; TCS: 197' 2" x 18' x 18' x 383,000 lbs; and Hydrogenator: 207' 10" x 19' 1" x 20' 10" x 500,904 lbs.
