Person-Centered Care in Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy

Person-centered care is an approach to cognitive rehabilitation therapy that prioritizes the patient's lived experience as the patient and therapist work together to improve the patient's cognition. It informs rehabilitation practices so as to meet the patient where they are at and, in addition to its clinical benefits, facilitates trust and communication.
