tainan vlog 🇹🇼 temples, zeelandia, anping 🌿 backpacking taiwan l asia travel

we are backpacking along the westcoast of beautiful Taiwan and our next destination is TAINAN !
A calm yet vibrant city with lot of cultural activities and some time to find peace. Perfect to travel on a budget in an asian country with japanese and chinese vibes as well!

However I made a short list of food places and things to do. Some we did ourselves, some i only check out online and heard good of. But if you need some more ideas for your own trip:

its a bit difficult here to find vegetarian and vegan options! however if you search vegetarian/vegan restaurant on google maps you can find plenty! but when just walking around you wont easily stumble across anything. nightmarkets are really based on meat/fish but they have sweet treats or some other veggie options, but be aware of the fish / meat oil at food markets ;)
