In 2013 all I wanted was motherhood.
There was absolutely nothing else that I desired.
I was truly heartbroken when I was told 'Maybe not'.
But are you truly prepared

It's 2024 and I have 3 amazing kids

There are days when I feel so overwhelmed,
Overstimulated, stressed out.

Moms are made to feel like robots
Our feelings do not matter.
Then the guilt we feel.
Some days I am so overwhelmed
I just want to run away.

Kids are kids
That means they give trouble,
They don't listen
They make a mess
And the list goes on.
That also means for moms
It can be a little bit too much.

It's hard to give ourselves grace.
Sometimes I think to myself
I am not fit or ready to be a parent
But my life would be so incomplete without them.
