GANG OF MEWATI AUTO-LIFTERS BUSTED WITH RECOVERY OF 20 STOLEN VEHICLES & ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY JOINT TEAM OF AATS & PS BINDAPUR, DWARKA DISTRICT

• FOUR AUTO-LIFTERS OF MEWATI GANG ARRESTED BY JOINT TEAM OF AATS & PS BINDAPUR.
• TWO COUNTRY-MADE PISTOLS AND FOUR LIVE CARTRIDGES RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION.
• TOTAL 19 STOLEN TWO WHEELERS AND 01 STOLEN MAHINDRA TRACTOR ALSO RECOVERED FROM THEIR POSSESSION.
• TWO SCREW DRIVERS BEING USED IN LOCK BREAKING WERE ALSO RECOVERED.

 TEAM AND OPERATION-
In view of increasing of theft, MV theft and auto-lifting incidents in the area of Dwarka district. A dedicated team led by Insp. Rajesh Malik, SHO/Bindapur comprising SI Anup Rana, HC Ramesh, HC Raju, HC Yograj, HC Dinesh, HC Jagbir, HC Dharmender, Ct Rajesh, Ct Ankit, and DHG Bir Singh (PS Bindapur) and ASI Vijay, HC Sonu, HC Manoj, HC Sandeep, HC Hemchand, and Ct Arvind (AATS/Dwarka) with technical support of HC Ajeet & HC Prashant (CDR Cell Dwarka) under the overall supervision of Sh. Rajbir Lamba, ACP/Dabri, was constituted to work on theft and MC theft cases of Dwarka. After long and hectic efforts, the team succeeded in collecting information about auto-lifters of Mewat, who are active in many districts of Delhi. After camping for 07 days in Mewat, HC Raju collected information regarding the activities of auto lifters. The team also visited each and every spot of theft & MV theft incident in the area of PS Bindapur and Dabri. CCTV footage of the spot as well as nearby places were analysed by the team. Local informers were also roped in the area to get intelligence and information regarding active gang of auto-lifters.
The relentless efforts of the team bore fruits, on 04.03.2023, secret information was received by HC Raju regarding the movement of four auto-lifters of Mewat Region and they will come in the area of Bindapur and Dabri to commit crime. As per information, a trap was laid near Dust Land, JJ Colony, Sec-03, Dwarka, by the team. At about 11:15 PM, four young boys came on two motorcycles from the side of Mansa Ram Park towards Dust Land. On seeing police party they turned back and tried to flee from the spot. On this the team started chasing them and they were overpowered and apprehended along with motorcycles after a short chase by the team. On interrogation, their name and address were revealed as Rukmin @ Tatla R/o Vill Ladla, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 22 years, Sazid R/o Vill Shesan, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 23 years, Ramzan R/o Vill Udki Maumda, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 33 years, and Sabir R/o Vill Shesan, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 19 years.
During frisking, two country-made pistols & 04 live cartridges were recovered from their possession. On verification, the recovered motorcycles were found to be stolen vide E-FIR No. 06868/23 U/s 379 IPC PS Bindapur, and vide E-FIR No. 06936/23 U/s 379 IPC PS Dabri. As per recovery of stolen motorcycles and illegal firearms & ammunition a case vide FIR No. 193/23 U/s 25 Arms Act & 411 IPC was registered at PS Bindapur.

 INTERROGATION-
During sustained interrogation accused persons disclosed that they had stolen several vehicles i.e Tractor, ECCO car, Pickup Bolero and motorcycles from Delhi & NCR and used to sell stolen vehicles in Mewat Region i.e. Bharatpur, Rajasthan. They further disclosed that some stolen motorcycles and scooty parked in abandoned plot near FIMT college, Kapashera and near Nursery, Dundahera, Gurugram. They used these stolen motorcycles and scooty in committing crime. At their instance total 09 stolen motorcycles, 10 stolen scooty, and one stolen tractor (Mahindra) were also recovered from abandoned plot near FIMT college and near Nursary, Dundahera.
 ACCUSED ARRESTED-

• Rukmin @ Tatla R/o Vill Ladla, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 22 years. He is previously involved in 02 cases of MV theft.
• Sazid R/o Vill Shesan, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 23 years.
• Ramzan R/o Vill Udki Maumda, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 33 years.
• Sabir R/o Vill Shesan, Distt. Bharatpur, Rajasthan, Age 19 years.

 RECOVERY-

• 02 country-made pistols.
• 04 live cartridges.
• 09 stolen motorcycles.
• 10 stolen scooty.
• 01 stolen tractor (Mahindra).
• 02 screw drivers being used in lock breaking of vehicles.
