DIVERTED FLIGHT | S7 Airlines Airbus A320 | Perm - Moscow (VKO) - Moscow (DME)

Hello friends! Today we posted one of our most unique flight reviews - diverted flight and a hop between two Moscow airports.

This flight took place the past winter, long before the COVID-19 pandemic. Initially, we didn't plan to film it at all - it seemed like a routine morning flight from Perm to Moscow with S7 Airlines. The decision to shoot was made right before boarding the flight and it paid off!

Soon after the start of a descent to DME, the captain announced that due to the weather we would land at VKO. A blessing for an avgeek! Nature really doesn't have bad weather 😉

Less than an hour after landing, we set off from VKO to DME - it was so unique to take off from Vnukovo on an airline based in Domodedovo.

The flight between the two Moscow airports took less than 20 minutes - the video shows how the climb turns into a descent without flying at a cruising altitude.
