The jury returned guilty verdicts of second degree murder, third degree murder and manslaughter.

The former police officer was filmed kneeling on Floyd for over nine minutes during his arrest last May and the video footage led to protests in the US and around the world over police use of force against minorities.

Is this a turning point in history?

Aleem Maqbool reports. Emily Maitlis is joined by Rachel Paulose, former US Attorney for Minnesota, Minnesota State Representative Cedrick Frazier and President of the US National Bar Association, CK Hoffler.
