Kohler x Milan Design Week 2023| Pushpa Kumari

As part of Kohler’s 150th anniversary celebration, the global design leader partnered with four artists, each recognized for their boundary-breaking artistic practices. The talented creators were provided carte blanche to bring their visual expressions to Kohler’s products – the Numi 2.0 smart toilet, Brazn sink, and Brazn bathtub. Each product within the collection will be offered in a quantity of 150, honoring Kohler’s anniversary year.

Our first creator is Pushpa Kumari, a folk artist energized by culture, heritage and intuitive sensitivity. Her body of work is inspired by religious and social lore of India that distinguishes her art from rest, both in expression and concept. She is a practitioner of the Mithila artform that selflessly describes a man’s association with nature.
Her experience of blending in artistic forms with contemporary styles made the Numi 2.0 smart toilet a perfect canvas for her.
