StringCandy: Pop Quartet Stacks offers an expansive collection of expertly recorded string arrangements, hooks, melodies, song-starting kits and textures aimed at a boundless vibes for all things pop and beyond. Written and performed by StringCandy founder Stephanie Matthews (Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, John Legend) accompanied by an all-female quartet. With loops ranging from 85 BPM to 135 BPM - This collection offers a treasure trove of expertly crafted and curated loops and one-shots brimming with quality and character to kickstart your next production.

These samples were recorded at the legendary United Recording, Studio B, by engineer Wesley Seidman, featuring a Custom built Neve 68 Input 8068/8088 and 56 Neve 31102 EQ plus 40 original API 550a EQs. Hilight pieces of gear include Vintage Neumann M-50, AEA KU-4, Sennheiser MKH-40, Vintage AKG C-12, Vintage Neumann U-47 for the highest quality set of samples.

At the helm of StringCandy is Stephanie Matthews. A dynamic violinist and entrepreneur, Stephanie Matthews is a modern-day citizen artist championing artistic excellence and social consciousness. She is the Co-Founder of the Re-Collective Orchestra, an all-black orchestra dedicated to raising the visibility and profile of black musicians and to present culturally relevant work to engage diverse audiences.Ms. Matthews has written, recorded and contributed to various music, television and film projects.he has collaborated with many notable mainstream performing and recording artists including Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, John Legend, Ariana Grande, Alicia Keys, Camilla Cabello, Justin Timberlake, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Pharrell, H.E.R., and Bastille. Recent projects include "Da 5 Bloods" (2020), "Mulan" (2020), "Tenet" (2020), “Frozen 2” (2019), “The Mandalorian” (2019), "The Lion King" (2019), "X-Men: Dark Phoenix" (2019) and "When They See Us" (2019). StringCandy musicians have made appearances on popular television and award shows from the Grammys and American Music Awards, to Saturday Night Live and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and have worked with a wide variety of recording and performing artists across various genres of music, including Pop, Hip Hop, Rock, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Classical, Electronic and Alternative.
