Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent (PS5 Pro): First 60 Minutes - Descent: Journeys in the Dark RPG

This video shows off the first 60 minutes of Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent on the PlayStation 5 Pro.

Overall:

Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent is a dungeon crawling RPG based on a popular board game called Descent: Journeys in the Dark.

You get to play as different classes that have unique abilities in and out of combat. All of these characters are fully voiced and have their own background stories.

During tactical turn-based fights, you need to pay attention to positioning. For example, archers deal more damage on higher grounds but are at a disadvantage when the target is right in their face.

Each character also has their own special abilities that you need to pay attention to. Thankfully, the tutorial dungeon is great at easily explaining many of the combat nuances.

Perhaps the best aspect of Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent is that it supports co-op multiplayer for up to 4 players online. Players can even jump in during mid-missions.

The only real negative is the small text on console. If you are sitting too far away from the screen, then you will have a hard time reading unless you have great vision. Unfortunately, there isn’t any option to increase the text size.

Aside from that, Terrinoth is a pretty fun and engaging dungeon crawler, especially if you are planning to play in co-op.
