What you didn't know about Rome: Piazza Navona & Campo de' Fiori
Today we're exploring two of Rome's most famous landmarks: Piazza Navona & Campo de' Fiori.
Piazza Navona created as an athletics stadium by Emperor Domitian in the 1st century AD (from which it still derives its shape) and is now a masterpiece of Baroque Rome with its famous 'Fountain of the Four Rivers' by sculptor Bernini.
Campo de' Fiori has been the vibrant market hub of Rome since the 19th century AD. By day it's a market but by night it transforms into one of Rome's most popular nightlife areas.
Come and explore these sites and learn all about their transformations!
