A Ride on the Kawasaki VN1500 Vulcan MeanStreak

Here is a short Ride on a 2002 Kawasaki VN1500 MeanStreak. This bike comes standard with a lot of high tech features for increased performance and lower maintenance. It has four valves per cylinder, single overhead camshaft, hydraulic valve lifters, dual spark plugs, fuel injection, shaft drive, inverted forks, high-performance triple disk, six-piston calipers from the race-oriented ZX-9 sportbike, and a crankshaft counter balancer that cancels out any vibration inherit with the 50 degree V-twin design. I also added the Vance & Hines LongShot exhaust pipes, a Power commander and a K&N high flow air filter. Dyno data indicated 66hp in stock trim. With the mods it made 80hp (a 21% gain). The bike runs pretty good! Very reliable.
