Youngstown, Ohio | What Happened To This Place?

Part 1 of the worst areas of Youngstown, Ohio. This place has certainly seen better days! Ever since the factories, production plants, and steel mills shut down in the 70's and 80's Youngstown was hit very hard with the industrial decline. This Rust Belt City has seen a major population decline over the years, however up until very recently only is a slight uptick and sits currently around 67,000 people. There are so many abandoned homes and buildings, its a sight to see. Youngstown can also be a very dangerous place as the crime rate is 80% above the national average.
