The present swamiji His Holiness Shri. Gavisiddeshwara Mahaswamiji is a post-graduate in English, philosophy and Sanskrit. He is a scholar, orator, thinker, creative worker, educationist, reformist and above all he is an ardent follower of his Guruji. He is an exemplary for GURUBHAKTHI AND KRIYASHAKTI. He believes himself not as a Peethadipati of Shri Gavimath but as an humble servant chosen by his revered Guruji , of which he feels proud to serve to uphold the greatness of Shri. His Holiness strived hard successfully for the completion of unfinished Ayurvedic college & Hospital building within the record period of one year and observed the first “punya Smarane” of his Guruji in the premises of the completed building of Ayurvedic college quite meaningfully and magnificently.

His Holiness Shri Gavisiddeshwar Mahaswamiji after his every visit to the villages of Gavimath followers in the district returned with heavy heart deeply moved by the pathetic condition of the poor in providing education to their children due to poverty. He took upon himself the task of performing “SIKSHANA YAGNA’ which he regards the right form of worship to his Guruji as well as fulfilling the need of the present situation.
