Kronshtadt. On the verge of big changes.

We are inviting you to the naval city-island called Kronshtadt.
It is located 19 mi to the west of St. Petersburg, Russia.
The fortress and forts were started on an island by Peter the Great and for many years Kronshtadt was the main naval base of the Russian Baltic fleet.
We do a half-day or full day tours there and speak about Russian history and history of Russian navy, famous people and famous inventions, discuss Soviet era and post-Soviet time.
During the tour we visit the outstanding St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral and Anchor Square, famous Kronshtadt tide-gauge, the Winter Pier, Peter the Great Park, the ‘Island of Forts’ Park and other popular sights. Also we can go to one or two of 19 forts of Kronshtadt.
Nowadays a big renovation is in progress on an island and on its forts and we are happy to show you how this city is living at the moment.
