MOLOKAI Island, Hawaii: What to see, do and EAT

Known as the "most Hawaiian" of all of the Hawaiian Islands, Molokai is home to less than 7,000 people and the 5th largest of all of the islands. On the island there is only one hotel called Hotel Molokai, the largest town is called Kaunakakai and features two grocery stores, a book store, a couple art galleries, some cafes, a library, various shops and a few places to eat. For being small however there is still so much to see and do.

What to see:
- Visit a plumeria farm
- Visit Purdy's Macadamia nut farm
- Beautiful deserted beaches
- Kalaupapa (home to the Kalaupapa Leprosy (Hansen's Disease) Settlement and National Historic Park
- The highest sea cliffs in the world (as seen in Jurassic Park 3)

What to do:
- Send a beautifully decorated coconut in the mail
- Enjoy a cultural experience and hike to a waterfall in the Halawa Valley with Anakala Pilipo and Greg Solatorio the last remaining descendants of the Halawa Valley.
- Visit the Pu'u O Hoku Ranch
- Stay at Hotel Molokai http://www.travelyourself.ca/cailins-blog/review-of-hotel-molokai-in-molokai-hawaii/

What to EAT:
- Molokai Hot Bread
- Fresh Poi
- Fresh macadamia nuts
