Example 1 Automated Switch Software Upgrade

This is a simple example of an automated switch upgrade of a brand new switch that will be installed. The step after this (Not in this video) is pushing the generated base configuration to the switch.

This is using a single switch, but you can stage a bunch of devices and add them to the que. The server will then go through the que and provision all of them in the order it finds them. This section is limited to a staging subnet as it's used for staging and base configuration pushing for new devices.

The server does have the ability to target specific closets and batches of switches for automated upgrades as well. Joined with automatic pre and post checks it can make it a bit easier to do bulk upgrades.
