Widerøe Dash-8-300 x4 - Polish airlift at Stord airport, april 2020

The first commercial flights to take place at Stord airport during the pandemic lockdown, were operated by Widerøe i mid april.

4 chartered flights from Gdansk and Krakow in Poland, formed an airlift to bring industrial workers to Stord.
Strict seperation and hygenic rules were implemented for the workers' safety, meaning each flight was only half full.
Passengers also had to disembark the aircraft in groups of 5 at a time.

Following the drop off, the aircraft departed for Bergen - Flesland, and Oslo - Gardermoen.
