Gates Open at Lafayette Park by the White House and I was one of the first to go inside

Got a tip that there was some activity at Lafayette Square, the park across from White House that has been closed since the George Floyd protests and the scene of the Donald Trump photo in front of the St Johns Church that was besieged during the protests. I ran down to the White House, passing the Vice President's place and then being passed by the Vice President on her morning commute to the office. We got to the Park and it was indeed open, so we went inside and checked out the view, spotting the Marine at the West Wing lobby and taking in some of the history we've missed over this last year. There was also a live stream that I'll link to as well if you want to see more of what it was like.
