Small bugs

Causes:

Aging (most common)

Posterior Vitreous Detachment (PVD)

Eye injury

Diabetic Retinopathy

Uveitis

Retinal tear or detachment

Emergency Signs (See doctor immediately):
⚠️ Sudden many floaters
⚠️ Flashes of light
⚠️ Curtain/shadow over vision
⚠️ Sudden vision loss

Treatment:

Most are harmless – no treatment needed

Laser for retinal tear

Vitrectomy surgery (severe cases)
