It is a shoot 'em up game developed by Compile and published by Naxat Soft in 1991 for the PC Engine CD in Japan only. The game was originally planned to be part of the Aleste series and developed under the title "Seirei Senshi Aleste", but was changed to the current one at the behest of publisher Naxat, who wanted to start their own shoot 'em up series.
